About

I’m so glad you’re here.

In case no one has told you lately, allow me:

Your story matters. Right now, in the messy middle and the chapter you never saw coming. Right here, in the unknown and the overwhelming and the how exactly is this going to work out?

I learned it the hard way: your mess will likely become your message. That’s what you’ll find here (and on InstagramFacebook, and through my Thursday emails) . . . words from the middle, from a girl who is waiting and wrestling, wondering and believing, trusting and hoping, learning and un-learning and making mistakes along the way.

(And also likely making awkward faces when photographed because being in front of the camera is A Whole Thing.)

I’m a storyteller who writes about discovering God’s goodness in the ordinary and faithfulness in the difficult.

I work as a Virtual Assistant and Book Launch Manager (more on that here).

I’m the author of Even If Not: Living, Loving, and Learning in the in Between.

I love chips and queso, the sound of laughter, good books, deep conversations, and iced vanilla lattes.

And, as you’ll soon discover if you hang around (I hope you will, because I like you already) . . . I’m not interested in wrapping things up with a bow or only painting a pretty picture here. Please see: your mess will likely become your message.

You’ll find joy & sorrow here. You’ll read of hurts & hopes here. You’ll hear words of delight & grief here. This is the beauty and the heartbreak and the redemption of the in between, the ampersand (&) of the story.

When we let God do the mending, broken things become blessed things. (free printable)

We may not know what the next chapter will hold or what story this page will one day tell, but we can tell it true.

It may seem like we go from one in between to another, from one waiting room to the next, but we can trust the unknown of the future to the God we know is authoring its pages.

And so, here you’ll find honest and hope-full words from the & . . . from the messy middle.

Come as you are. You are so welcome here.

P.s. If you find yourself walking through an in between today, somewhere in the middle of the story, wrestling with questions and doubts and unknowns, I’d love to share with you Even If Not: Living, Loving, and Learning in the in Between.

P.p.s. If you, like me, love a good printable, these are for you!

Loved your story so much. So happy to have shared your book on my blog! It’s funny how God takes all the moments in your life and connects some of them to other’s stories. I wrote about my daughter’s brain surgery when she was 17. Amazing what He will do with the many, little broken pieces. ❤️

I’m really enjoying your site…and your “unexpected” book. I too had a brain tumor when I was a little girl. God wrote it out of my story when He caused it to disappear. He is faithful…every story is special because He is the author. Thanks for sharing~
