As a Virtual Assistant and book launch manager, I joyfully serve behind-the-scenes
so that you are free to focus on what you’re made to do.
Although my responsibilities vary with each client, most days you’ll find me . . .
– Creating, organizing, and executing social media plans and editorial calendars
– Editing and writing books, ebooks, blog posts, social media copy, email blasts, and newsletters
– Planning, writing, posting, and engaging with social media posts for clients
– Designing graphics for print, social media, or website content
– Managing the details of and running book launches (more on that below!)
– Casting vision for upcoming book releases and client projects
It has been my joy to work closely with dozens of authors, speakers, bloggers and companies including DaySpring Cards, (in)courage, Mercy House Global, Holley Gerth, Jennifer Dukes Lee, Susie Larson, Kristen Strong, Kayla Aimee, Mary Carver — and many more!

– Holley Gerth, Wall Street Journal bestselling author
I don’t have enough fingers and toes on which to count the times I’ve uttered these words to people: “You need to hire Kaitlyn Bouchillon.” My ministry wouldn’t be where it is today without Kaitlyn. She doesn’t simply meet my expectations. She exceeds them again and again, creatively delivering services with excellence and a gracious heart. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
– Jennifer Dukes Lee, author and nonfiction acquisitions editor
Having Kaitlyn on my team made all the difference in the world. From drafting tweets to posting updates on Facebook to simply brainstorming strategy with me, she made it possible for me to accomplish so much more. She needs very little direction and always completes tasks on time, and she helped me turn ideas into action. Kaitlyn is versatile, personable and talented – the exact combination that makes a perfect team member!

Book Launch Management:
As a book launch manager, I come alongside the author and publishing house to help you get your message into the world. Part-coach and part-cheerleader, this often means brainstorming, strategizing, creating marketing plans, designing graphics, writing copy, and managing launch teams.
As of fall 2019, I have managed dozens of launch teams and am currently preparing for several winter/spring releases. Although there are additional titles and launch teams that I worked on behind-the-scenes, the following shows several of the most recent:
Kaitlyn Bouchillon has been a wonderful partner in launching several of my author’s street teams. I’ve partnered with her on Nonfiction and Fiction book releases and have been so pleased with the results! She is incredibly organized, an excellent communicator and strives to meet all of our objectives set prior to the launch. She energizes the street team in way that makes each participant excited to launch the book. I’m so grateful for Kaitlyn’s expertise and look forward to working together again in the future!
– Kristen Magnesen, Senior Marketing Manager Tyndale House Publishers
Kaitlyn is dependable, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. She managed my book launch team with excellence. Her attention to detail, kind approach, and know-how, brought me peace of mind and helped launch my book successfully. I highly recommend Kaitlyn’s VA services. She is such a gift to writers! Kaitlyn brings her affinity for books, beautiful graphics, and administration to the table so that you are freed to focus on what’s most important to you.
– Katie M. Reid, author of Made Like Martha
Kaitlyn Bouchillon made How the Light Gets In’s launch so successful because she kept my large street team organized and informed, which served as my book’s social media engine, propelling my physical book launch, such as radio interviews and book signings. Kaitlyn is a perfect blend of organization and enthusiasm. It was an absolute JOY to work with her, and I hope I get the chance to work with her again!
– Jolina Petersheim, bestselling author of How the Light Gets In
As an author myself and an avid reader (I was the girl who ate dinner with a fork in one hand and a book in the other), I truly believe in the power of story. Long before I was a book launch manager, I was a launch team member. When time allows in between VA work and the teams I’m managing, I continue to support authors and messages I believe in as a launch team member. Here are some of the titles I have supported as a launch team member:
While some VAs offer a set rate, I choose to tailer each plan and book launch team to the individual needs of the client. This means that my rates are project or package based, depending on what will serve you best.
Together, we’ll talk through ideas and challenges before creating a plan for your next steps!
