Well, y’all know I’m dipping my toes into the Bible journaling and Illustrated Faith craze.

I’ve loved some of the kits more than others, but (it’s Christmas-themed!) is my favorite by far. I’m pretty sure it’s because of the gold ink and the perfect washi tape for Christmas-present-wrapping. But really, that’s no surprise. Gold and washi? All the heart eyes.

When I first previewed the kit, I was a little hesitant. What if everything is “too” Christmas-y? What if it doesn’t translate to the rest of the year?

(What if I totally overthought everything and had no reason to have any sort of hesitation? Yeah. That.)

Within the journal itself, I used the silver and green ink pads from previous kits. So far, that’s one of my favorite things about Illustrated Faith. Although each kit is unique and has its own theme, they all go together and are easily interchangeable. Somehow the washi, stamps, and ink pads all compliment each other well.

I’m still getting the hang of these kits, but the more I use them the more I see how many different things I could create! Which is, let’s be honest, really encouraging for someone who doesn’t know what she’s doing.

However…

As soon as I saw the washi for the , I knew it would work perfectly when wrapping Christmas presents. Now that is something I have a small grasp on.

I used the washi tape and three of the Illustrated Faith Christmas stamps to decorate a few blank note cards and bam, done. Pretty, easy, and unique.

If you haven’t tried any of the Illustrated Faith products yet, I truly would recommend them. I know DaySpring will be making the kits even better in 2017, but honestly they’re pretty great as is. And bonus, you can even use them for other things… like, you know, wrapping gifts.

Note: for the handmade Christmas cards, I used the stamps from the as well as from a limited edition Christmas stamp set. These Christmas stamps would have worked really well, too.
